I am a self-taught photographer, active in Toronto for over 15 years. Currently, my interest is in expressing emotion through my images, from the exhilaration of fast movement, (dancers, skateboarders, cyclists), to nostalgia for the imagined peacefulness of times past (still life).
In some images time stops to allow revelling in the beauty of a fading flower; in others, landscapes are in motion, moody with with the passage of time; some images are light-hearted and humorous, some capture the moment precarious stillness may give in to movement (still life).
I am also interested in studio portrait photography.
