Painting primarily in oil and watercolour, I try to capture the beauty in the environment around me. Water, and how people interact with it, plays an important part in many of my landscapes. What inspires me is a sweeping vista or the elegance of sailing boats. At other times it is people within their natural environment or even the beauty inherent in a deteriorating or ruined structure.
